People’s Climate March in NYC

Join Camp Kinderland for the largest climate march in history!

With many thousands joining the People’s Climate March this Sunday, September 21st, logistics are continually changing, so our meeting time and place have changed.

Camp Kinderland will meet at 10:30 AM at West 69th Street and Central Park West. Look for the big yellow banner.

The following cross streets to Central Park West will be open: 65th, 72nd, 77th, 81st, and 86th. All other cross streets will be closed.  For a more detailed picture of how the march will be organized, see http://peoplesclimate.org/lineup. We are part of the

BLUE/We Can Build the Future contingent which includes families, youth, students, labor, and many other groups. Suggested subway route is via the C, 1, 2 or 3 trains to 72nd Street.

Please tell anyone you know about this change. If you want to march with Camp Kinderland, you must arrive on time. We have been told that if the meeting area gets too full you may be turned away and directed toward a spot further north.
